When we lived in Geneva, Switzerland we had the chance to watch the Tour De France riders whiz by us going over and through the mountains. The Tour is 23 days long and there are four days before the finish in Paris this coming Sunday. There are more than 200 riders seeking to win the Tour which is the most prestigious bicycle competition in the world.
While you might not be an ardent cyclist we recommend you spend a few minutes tuned into the NBC Sports channel. The Tour aerial drone coverage provides the best view of the French countryside you can possibly see. The Tour goes through small villages and high mountain passes and the viewers from all over the world can see, the beauty of the French countryside. The grand finale is Sunday so you have a few days to check the Tour out.
