Central Pasco Business Development

A Central Pasco Business Development Proposal

A proposal for a 24 million-square-foot corporate business park, plus residential and other components in Central Pasco is a step closer to reality. The proposed development, dubbed Project Arthur, will be located on 6,951 acres — east of the Suncoast Parkway, west of the CSX rail line and south of State Road 52.

In addition to the massive office park, there would be 11,495 residences and other supportive uses, under the proposal. A key element of the Plan is a 24 million square foot Corporate Business Park which would add significant employment opportunities to Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties.

Pasco Infrastructure Budgets Double

Pasco County is projecting a 9.5 perfect increase in assessed value. This increase will allow the County to double our infrastructure budget without raising taxes. Pasco County has routinely invested $21 million dollars annually in infrastructure development and improvement. The County has now approved an annual budget increase to $45.5 million. This includes new or improved fire stations, an expanded Detention Center, Branch Library Improvement, District Parks and  Parks and Recreation projects.

Welcome to the Sports Coast

Pasco County’s Tourism Office has re-branded our county. Effective immediately Pasco is now FLORIDA’S SPORTS COAST.  Last Year Pasco County had 957,000 visitors who contributed $615 million to our local economy. More than one million hotel room nights were purchased. Anchoring our claim to be a sports Mecca is the Advent Health’s Center Ice ice rink which is the largest skating facility in the entire Southeast of the country and the  Wiregrass Sports Complex which is under construction.
